Just Can’t Get Enough

A

With Memorial Day weekend behind us, I’m officially in summer mode. Zack and I enjoyed our three work-free days checking out the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie, binging out on Netflix’s Bloodline, and road tripping it up to Santa Barbara for a day. Oh how I wish every weekend could be a long weekend!

And with the kick-off of the summer season, comes an outfit that pretty much sums up the trends I can’t get enough of right now: embroidery, off-the-shoulder, and pale blue pinstripes.

Embroideries started making a huge appearance in the fall, and, friends, they aren’t going anywhere (except into my closet). Plan on seeing many more embroidered looks on the blog because my closet it seriously starting to fill up . . . from dresses to tops to denim . . . even shoes!

Then we’ve got stripes . . . specifically the tiny light blue ones. Whether standing alone or topped with embroideries and/or fun prints, this just looks like summer. And what better way to tie them all together than by throwing them on an off-the-shoulder dress?

Top the look off (literally) with a panama hat and some chunky, lace-up block heels. Summer, I’m ready for you.

Hi there! First and foremost, choose a topic or topics you are passionate. Blogging should be fun! My next piece of advice would be consistency. Decide how often you want to post and try to stick to it. Start small…maybe once a week or even just twice a month…do what works for you. then if you feel like you can keep post more often…slowly build up to it! best of luck!
