Sundresses + Summer Vacations

A

Tomorrow is officially the first day of summer, and nothing says summer like bright colors + sundresses. And planning summer vacations where you can wear those bright colored sundresses.

I’ve got less than 2 weeks left in Madrid, but next week I’m heading to Tenerife with my cousin for a girls’ trip. Then Zack + I are off to Murcia, Spain for a few weeks (where I’ll be living at the pool) before we head back to Budapest for the rest of our time abroad. Once we’re back in Budapest I have another trip planned with one of my best friends to check out Athens. Carpe Diem!

Sundresses will be getting me through this season AND the vacations. Dress them up or down, find them in a variety of silhouettes and colors, AND they are easy to pack. Lightweight = no problem fitting plenty of options in your suitcase.

This off shoulder rainbow stripe dress will be on repeat this summer. I decided to pair it with a neutral straw cross body bag, sandals, and a pair of statement fringe earrings.

One last note: As I was planning out my summer vacations, I also began thinking about summer goals. Setting goals, both long and short term, is important to me, and I wanted to set myself some goals for the summer, so I can make the most of the season. Hopefully these will inspire you as well. . .I think almost all of them can be applied to most people!

1. Take a relaxing vacation (or staycation).
2. Explore a new place.
3. Take some time off social media and read a new book (audiobooks count too!).
4. Make at least one healthy choice every day (even if it’s something small).
5. Learn something new (for me, I’m going to keep working on my Spanish!)

I’d love to hear your thoughts as well. From your favorite summer dresses to summer goals you’ve set for yourself. Leave me a comment!

XO – Courtney
