Cold + Cropped

I’m the kind of person who enjoys being busy, but only with the fun stuff. Of course life is generally a mixture the being busy with things you want to be doing and things you have to do.

During the week, my days are filled with work and the evenings are generally spent cooking dinner, working out, chores, and chilling out with some Netflix. Weekends are the times when Zack and I try to plan something fun. A dinner out, a day trip somewhere close by, or just trying something new. We’ve been pretty go, go, go for the past few weekends, so when last weekend rolled around and we had no plans, we just went with it. Pretty sure I wore my pajamas from Friday night until I woke up Monday morning.

But now the weekend is over and it’s back to the grind. . .and back to getting dressed. (Hey, I may love and work in fashion but comfort = key, so don’t judge my lazy weekend spent in sweats.)
So here’s how I mixed a little comfort in with some of my favorite fall trends. The Cold Shoulder. This popular style from the spring and summer is rolling into fall. I went with a fitted tee that had shoulder cut outs. The Cropped Wide-Leg Bottom. Huge trend whether it’s denim, dress pants, or jumpsuits. I love this new twist on overalls. . .the wide leg + the silky lightweight fabric = comfort for the hot days that are clearly sticking around for a while but in the perfect fall palette.
How are you guys styling cold-shoulder tops and cropped wide-leg bottoms this season?
