It’s been an intense + emotional + wild week. There are a lot of changes coming, but hey, I won’t get into all that on the blog (for now at least), because I don’t know about you but I’m ready for social media to go back to being filled with silly videos of sneezing pandas and twerking pigs.
But some changes can be fun. . .like shaving off a lot of hair, and getting a fun chevron undercut. It’s a pretty bold hair cut, BUT it doesn’t really change your look that much until you put your hair up. If anything, it makes ponytails a little more exciting.
I’ll be rocking the party pony all season. (Starting last weekend when Zack and I celebrated our 10 year dateiversary at the Magic Castle. . .which was amazing + mindblowing + MAGICAL.) I’ve got to say, it’s nice having an excuse to get dressed up all fancy, and we’ve got a few more events coming up this season that we’re both looking forward to.
But back to this look: everything about this is a major throwback to 8th grade when denim skirts, bell sleeves, and chokers were all the rage. Except this isn’t a micro mini skirt from Hollister or a plastic choker from Claire’s. Yay, nostalgia.
Another change I’m ready for? STOP BEING 90°, LOS ANGELES. It’s November. I wouldn’t be mad if I had to put on a sweater or wear tights every now and then.
