Citrus Sangria

1

Just because I’ve moved and won’t be cooking as much doesn’t mean I don’t have a few extra recipes saved up to share! And in honor of our move to Spain last weekend, I thought I’d share a recipe for Citrus Sangria.

That’s right, it’s goodbye to Budapest for now. We will be spending the next few months in Madrid, then it’s back to Budapest for the remainder of our time abroad. And of course we are hoping to squeeze in a few other small trips as well.

I can’t believe we’ve been in Europe for a month already! Budapest was a lot of fun – had a few visitors that we got to show around, travelled to Prague + Vienna (post coming soon), made some new friends, and tried tons of new foods + drinks. I’m so excited to be in Spain now, a country that has always been on my bucket list.

Now obviously this isn’t your traditional Spanish sangria, but the flavors are so good together, and it’s kind of the perfect summer cocktail. . .it’s almost too pretty to drink! Almost. Scroll down for the recipe.

As I mentioned above, I may not be sharing as many recipes while we are living abroad because I’m too busy exploring and eating my way through Europe to cook up my own stuff! But never say never.

Oh, and for any of you who have ever traveled in Spain, what are some of your favorite cities to visit or things to do?

XO – Courtney
